Fire Truck

On Thursday the Terrell Fire Department brought their truck up to the kids school. They got to talk with the firemen and get inside the truck and they all received hats. Brayden loved the firemen and told me they were the greatest people. I'm sure his uncle T would be proud! One of Brayden's teachers Ms. Gerry was kind enough to take these pictures and send them to me. We are so grateful that the kids have such wonderful teachers taking care of them!

Howdy Folks

On Wednesday, Brent had the day off so we took the kids to the State Fair. Brayden was so excited to see the "Big Cowboy" as he calls Big Tex and ride some rides! When we got there the first thing the kids saw were these little cars that kids could drive around a course that was set up so we of course had to do it. Peyton was too little to drive which turned out to be the theme of the day as she was only able to ride the carousel with us. She was not too happy sitting by watching Brayden ride several rides but they both got to play the duck game on the midway and won little stuffed animals. Peyton picked out a tiger and Brayden got a dog. We only tried one fried item and that was the fried S'mores! I loved it, yummy!! Brent and I are going to try to go back next Tuesday while the kids are at school so I hope to try some other yummy things. I wish that we had been able to take the kids to little hands on the farm but we ran out of time as the kids were getting sleepy since they woke up at 6:45 that morning excited to go to the fair. I think we were able to stay an hour longer this year than we did last year so next year we hope to have the kids see and do more. On the way home it took about 30 seconds for Peyton to crash and Brayden was out about 10 minutes later. The weather was wonderful and we had some good family fun!

Peyton waiting for bubba to drive.

Brayden making his first lap and checking out the kid who can't drive.

He was so intent on his driving.

Looking so sweet and innocent...

Now he has him game face on!

Lapping the same kid again! LOL!! Brayden was loving it!

Watching Brayden ride the airplane. Poor thing, she was not happy!

Captain Billingsly

Hard to see him but he's driving.

Yours truly had to ride the ladder!

Everyone got to ride the carousel.

Peyton "Daddy's Girl" did not want to ride on the horse.

Canoe ride.

Race car game that would whip him around the corners so he
was holding on to both sides trying to stay in the middle.

Going to see the Hyundai's and we love the new Genesis coupe!

Katherine's 3rd Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to Brent's cousin's daughter's birthday party. The kids played in the bounce house and ate pizza. Peyton loved the theme, Strawberry Shortcake, everywhere she saw her she would say OMG! We all had a good time even though Peyton was being clingy, she tends to do that around crowds. Brayden was the only boy at the party which for some reason seems to be the case at most of the parties we attend. He is so.. outnumbered by girls! It doesn't faze him at all though he was running full force in the bounce house and would fly into the walls, he is such a boy! Here are just a few pictures I was able to take.

Castle bouncer.

Finally venturing into the bounce house.

Yummy peperoni pizza.

Peyton was putting cassi's shoes on.

Fall Portraits

It was time to get some updated professional pictures of the kids and also for Peyton's 2nd birthday. This year we had Brent's cousin Barry and his wife Tamara take the kids pictures. They did a superb job and got a ton of cute pictures of the kids. I like that some of them are just them being kids and not so posed all the time! They just let them play and be themselves which made it easier on us than trying to get them to pose a certain way. I can't say enough good things about them plus unlike most photographers that charge extra for a CD it is included with your session. They do pictures for all kinds of events: Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. If you are interested in their services you can contact them at tnt2000@feccommunications.net or 469-767-2694. They took so.. many pictures that I can't post them all but here are a few to enjoy!
