Brayden had his first T-ball practice on Saturday. I was so.. excited for him especially since I tried to sign him up this past spring but he missed the age deadline by 3 or 4 days. Nana Demers and Aunt Monky came out to see him play and help me wich Peyton which was much appreciated. All of the practices and games are held at Heartland on Saturday mornings so unfortunately Brent is unable to come, but we took lots of pictures and video too! He was so full of energy when we got there and all he wanted to do was run. I wasn't sure how he would do since we only play at home with his plastic bat and balls so he had to borrow some extra ones they had there. At first he was a little awkward with everything, he had to learn all of the bases and the first time he got to run to first base he ran completly past it. It was like that scene from Water Boy where they tell him to run home and he runs all the way to his house! Oh well, live and learn he did begin to pick everything up pretty quickly especially since several of the other kids he was playing with had previously played in the spring season. I was very proud of my big boy and glad that he was having fun with it. At the end of the practice the group had to come up with a team name and we went through a list, Rangers, Astros, Braves, Elephants "that was a kids suggestion" then we finally all agreed on the Sharks! GO SHARKS!!!
After practice we headed to ACADEMY to get Brayden some new stuff since we now knew what he could use. He did have his Daddy's glove thanks to he Pawpaw Billingsly but the hole for the hand is a little to big for him but he will be able to use it eventually. We went crazy at the store over all of the cute T-ball stuff and thanks to Nana & Popa Demers for Brayden's first T-ball bat and his new glove. He loves them and we can't wait to practice with his base set and official t-ball's.

Rounding third and headed for home.
First time at bat and he nocked over the T-ball stand.
This was his "Water Boy" moment! LOL!!
Second time and did a little better hitting.
Did much better running to first base.

Watching and heading to third base.
