Snow Day

We finally got to see snow this winter!! Brayden was so... excited when he woke up this morning and we told him that it had snowed outside. We had to get dressed immediately and go outside to play in it! Peyton as you will see from the pictures was really not too sure about it all but of course Brayden had a blast playing in it.

Today the weather was so nice that we spent pretty much all day outside! The kids had a blast playing Baseball, Basketball and playing on their swingset. I took lots of pics, enjoy!

Oh, on a side note. I found out that our daughter is a bit of a star, LOL!! Her 6 month baby picture is on display at Kiddie Kandid's.

Birthday Party

The kids and I ventured off to Ennis on Saturday for my nieces birthday party! The kids had a blast jumping on the trampoline and in the bounce house. We ate hot dogs and had cake. I think my nieces loved their outfits from Justice so I was excited about that. Brent was sick on Saturday and then Brayden got sick again on Sunday. I can't wait for the weather to stay warm so we can quit getting sick.

Peter Potty

Today, Brayden began using his new Peter Potty! He has been so excited to use it. He really likes to flush it more than anything but that's okay if it gets him to the potty. He has been doing well with it but had to get some instructions from daddy on how to stand in front of it. He first tried to sit on it and then he would stand up but lean in to it, it was hilarious! He has been so excited about it that he even woke up from his nap and took his pull up off to go potty in it. That was a first and I am so.... excited I just hope we can keep it up.

Justice

Yesterday Peyton and I ventured off to run some errands and get my niece's Meghan and Morgan's birthday present. We ended up going to this younger girl's store called Justice, I knew that this store was popular with the younger crowd so thought it would be a good choice. I went in and was so in love with all of the cute clothes that I wished they made stuff in Peyton's size! I can't wait for her to get old enough to go shopping for her there. I had to resist from buying everything I saw for my niece's. Peyton and I were in the store dancing to Hannah Montana song's and all of the ladies that worked there were just in love with Peyton. She can be such a ham. We picked Bray up from school and headed home to play in the tub with Brayden's Diego bubbles.

Red Robin

Today Brayden is feeling much better! YAY!! He went to school and Brent had the day off so we ran errands with Peyton. We cleaned out the garage and put together Brayden's new booster seat to surprise him. He was so excited and loves his new big boy seat!! Brent and Brayden went to the b-ball game as Brayden says and Peyton and I went shopping of course. We all met back up at Red Robin and ate dinner with Nena (supposed to be Nenaw but that's not what bray says lol) and Paw Paw. Bray and I played some games and then we headed home and straight to bed.

Brady Baby

I was inspired by a couple of people to begin a family blog. It seems as though time flies and I thought this would be a great way for everyone to check in and see what is going on in our world. Check back often to see new posts!

So to begin...

Brayden woke us up around 3:30 this morning throwing up and running fever. He seems to be getting better as the day progresses but still has the fever. As most of you know he is impossible to get any kind of medicine in him without him gaghing. Unfortunately he gets that from me. I always had the hardest time taking any kind of medicine. Peyton is doing well and so far no one else seems to be feeling bad.

On the home front we have decided that it is best for us to stay at our current residence for another 6 months and then re-evaluate. We are not extremely excited about this but we know that it will be the best thing for us in the long run. In the mean time we are going to make the best of it. I have decided to get a little more aggressive in looking for a job and have been sending my resume out furiously. If anyone knows of any open office/admin position's please let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated! That's it for now, take care!
