Peyton's 2nd Birthday

Our CC girl turned 2 on Sunday and this year we decided to celebrate it with a pottery painting party! I found a place in Dallas called Paint Yer Pottery and it was great. All of the kids got to pick out their pieces and their paint colors and have fun! I think several of the mom's and dad's had fun helping the kids paint, I know I did. He, He!! Peyton had so much fun opening her presents, it just shows me how she's getting older. When it came time to sing Happy Birthday she blew out both of her candles with no problem just like she was an old pro. Our CC girl is growing up and talking so much, she repeats almost everything you say! Example: Becky and I were getting the last of the things out of the party room and one of us dropped something and Peyton says "Oh good lordy". We both looked at each other and started laughing it was so funny! I have no idea where she got that from, He He!!

Quinlan

On Saturday the kids and I went to Ashlyn's 2nd birthday party. She had a Wizard of OZ theme because she loves Dorothy's shoes. Such a girl! We had hot dogs and the kids had cake. We watched Ashlyn open her presents and she liked the Storytime projector that we got her because she loves books. The kids and I had fun at the party and watching them it made me realize how big both of my babies are getting. Sniff, Sniff.

Something funny that I found out at the party. Casey was telling me that this ladies son's name is Brent. We thought that was too funny and then she says that Brent Aaron he's a mess! I was like your son's name is the same as my husband's. So for a second I thought my husband had an alter ego until we began to describe each other and so then I was safe! LOL!!

He played with the Barbie fishing pole almost the whole time. It was the only "boy" toy.

Playing in the ball pit.

Mckenzie picking up Ashlyn.

Waiting for Mom to fix their plate.

Are they checking the horse out or is the horse checking the kids out?

South Football Game

Thursday we went to the SG football game at HBJ and took both of the kids. Last year Brent took Brayden a few times by himself and Peyton and I would do our own thing. This was Peyton's first game since she was an infant and well let's just say it will be her last for a while. She would not sit still, I got tired just watching her going up and down the bleachers and scaring me when she would walk accross them. We had fun even though South got beat.

This was about the only time she sat still.

He watched the game so intently, yelling GO Football and doing the hand motions the coaches were doing.

Brayden's pretend "noculars".

Pointing to everyone and saying their name.

Playing with the streamers that were thrown.

TOUCHDOWN!!

Park Play

Saturday afternoon Cassidi came over to play with Brayden and Peyton and stayed the night with us. We ordered pizza and the kids played and watched movies. On Sunday we went to Osh Kosh and that was not exactly a great idea. Brent ended up taking the kids to the car so I could pay for our stuff and we headed straight home. Cassidi left around 4 on Sunday and after Peyton woke up from her late nap around 5 we took the kids to the park by our house for a while. The kids had fun playing on some different playground equipment. Brayden was so.. tired that he actually said "I'm too tired to play, I want to go to bed". We came home ate some dinner and after a long day of playing, Brayden passed out at 8. Peyton didn't go to bed until 9:30 but that wasn't too bad especially since she had such a late nap. We had a good but exhausting week and I can't wait for the kids to go back to school this week! Yeah for Mommy!!

My little model, he loves to pose!

The kids loved the big slide.

NASCAR baby!

Peyton had so much fun climbing up and down.

Posing for me yet again!

Girls can play football, can't they?

Going for the catch, we need lots of work on that!

He has a good throwing arm though!
